The Leys is a hive of activity throughout the afternoon. We have our regular local supporters of the carnival who supply the beer, food and ice cream sales and who occupy the same pitch every year but we welcome any new enquiries from the wider community.
Charity Stallholders varied with a mixture of local/national charities (Save the Children, Help for Heroes, W.I) , schools and youth organisations (Scouts, Guides, Air and Army Cadets) and senior groups (W.I) who are all raising money either by selling goods or having competitions.
Trade stallholders which include Estate agents, National Utility companies, Pottery and Garden Centres all either advertise their wares or run events for their local charity. Professionals provide sideshows for the children with Giant Bouncy Castles, a Climbing Wall, Pets to cuddle and Donkey rides.
Craft stallholders, who are all outdoors, sell local made jewellery, books, cakes, handbags and clothing which are very popular.
